Get ready, Portland! The Green is coming to Crystal Ballroom/Portland, Oregon on Tuesday, October 6th!
Hawai’i based reggae powerhouse The Green return with a new era of music, announcing their upcoming album Titles, set for release on July 17, 2026. The band also released the album’s title track, “Titles,” on May 8, offering fans a first look into the group’s most reflective and collaborative project to date.
Marking more than 16 years together, Titles serves as both a celebration of The Green’s journey and a glimpse into the future of the band. Written and produced collectively at Ka Ma’o Studios in Honolulu, the project highlights the vocal talents and creative contributions of every member, while staying rooted in the signature sound and uplifting spirit that have made The Green a defining force in island reggae music worldwide.
The album’s lead single, “Titles,” is a heartfelt nod to longtime fans, creatively weaving together references to many of The Green’s past song titles throughout the lyrics. Designed as both a celebration of the band’s journey and a tribute to the supporters who’ve been there since the beginning, the track captures the nostalgia, connection, and shared history that have defined The Green’s music for more than a decade.
“This album represents where we’ve been, what we’ve learned, and where we’re headed next,” the band shares. “It’s personal, it’s honest, and it reflects the growth of all of us as musicians, brothers, and storytellers.”
The album is being mixed by Veer Dhaniram, with mastering by Mike Fuller. It’s visual identity was created in collaboration with Hawai’i-born, internationally acclaimed artist Kamea Hadar, continuing a longstanding creative partnership central to many of The Green’s most iconic releases.
Fans can also expect new live performances and tour announcements in the coming months as The Green prepare to bring Titles to audiences across Hawai’i and beyond.
Over the years, The Green have built a global following through heartfelt songwriting, unforgettable live performances, and music centered around family, resilience, and unity. Fan favorites like “All I Need,” “Love I,” and “Wake Up,” continue to resonate across generations, while collaborations with artists like J Boog on tracks such as “Feelings,” “Mama Roots,” and “Fire Up Di Roses” have expanded their reach to audiences worldwide. One of their more recent collaborations is “Day by Day” with Kolohe Kai, which further reflects the band’s mission of spreading positivity and aloha through music.
Beyond the stage, The Green continue investing into their community through ventures including The Green General, a Kaua’i-based storefront offering local treats, shaved ice, and exclusive merchandise, as well as Ka Ma’o, the band’s nonprofit initiative focused on mentoring aspiring musicians and giving back to the next generation of artists in Hawai’i.
With Titles, The Green continues evolving while remaining deeply connected to the culture, community, and spirit that shaped them from the beginning.
