Hailing from Huntington Beach, Dirty Heads draw inspiration from Sublime and blend hip-hop, reggae, and rock with a laid-back So Cal vibe. The band formed in 2003 when Dustin Bushnell (aka Duddy B), a punk rocker, invited his friend Jared Watson (aka Dirty J), a rapper, to collaborate on a project that would focus on positive vibes and infectious grooves.

Their debut album, Any Port in a Storm, was released in 2008 and since then, the band has consistently charted on Billboard’s rock and alternative charts with well-received albums like Sound of Change, Swim Team, and Super Moon. In 2022, the band released their eighth studio album, Midnight Control
